Stephan Caras has energetically come off his recent European tour in which he had the chance to show his Fall/Winter 2012-13 collection titled, “Lush Sensuality”. Stephan stayed true to his philosophy of design in presenting yet another invigorating collection filled with femininity, playfulness, and sensuality. Sleek lines, lush fabrics, and colour all account for Stephan’s ability to create timeless pieces that express the natural femininity that women exude.
Stephan Caras’ tour started back in March where he debuted his collection in Paris, France for Paris Fashion Week, followed by a show in Athens, Greece at the 11th Athens Xclusive Designer’s Week, and finally concluding as guest of honour at the Cyprus Fashion Days in Larnaca, Cyprus.
Although Stephan is currently based out of Toronto, Canada, there has always been a special place his heart for Paris as it represents the very place where it all begun for him. As a young designer, Stephan went to Paris and designed for formidable fashion houses such as Guy Laroche, and Hermès. Stephan, who was recently named in CEO World Magazine’s list of top 20 designers, was asked how he felt about showing his collection in Paris.
“It is always a great honour to be able to show my work on a prestigious fashion stage such as Paris. This is where my creativity flourished and where I established my philosophy of design.”
While in Paris, Stephan was on location to initiate his advertising campaign for this year’s collection. Runway Magazine was on set to catch all the behind the scenes footage at this years photo shoot and to mark the return of Stephan Caras to Paris, and where it all began for him.
