ET Canada’s Angie Smith amazed at this year’s Renew the World Gala in Toronto, Canada as she dawned a gorgeous champagne ruffle dress designed by Canadian designer, Stephan Caras. The look is feminine and sensual. The voluminous organza ruffles and soft contours of the body express a truly romantic side consistent with Stephan’s designs. Angie Smith was a perfect match for this look as she proved that a woman can have fun, be elegant, and look stunning all at the same time.
The Renew the World Gala marked the historic 50th anniversary of the discovery of stem cells by Canadian scientists James Till & Ernest McCulloch. The event officially launched the Canadian Stem Cell Foundation and brought together some of Canada’s leading scientists, business leaders, philanthropists and a diverse array of celebrities, entertainment and media personalities, artists, authors and sport icons.
Stephan Caras recently presented the premier of his Fall/Winter 2012-13 collection during Paris Fashion Week, and in Athens, Greece. As Stephan continues to mark his presence both internationally and here at home, we anticipate to see many of his timeless and fabulous creations on many red carpets to come.
